The information required for a diagnosis is typically collected from a history and physical examination of the person seeking medical care.

WHICH TESTS ARE DONE?

Which medical tests are conducted depends on which signs and symptoms the patient is presenting with. A health history, physical exam, and tests, such as blood tests, imaging tests, and biopsies, may be used to help make a diagnosis.
