Safe In Our World is Hiring a Business Development & Fundraising Manager!

We’re looking for a biz dev and fundraising professional to join our small team, focusing on shaping and delivering the Charity’s fundraising strategy.

Key Details

This new role will be responsible for ensuring sustainable growth and increased awareness of Safe In Our World’s mission and services, focusing on identifying opportunities for revenue generation, forming strategic partnerships, and nurturing existing relationships.

Hours per week: 37.5

Location: UK-based (Remote)

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Closing Date: 31 March 2026, 11:59pm GMT

The Role

We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of the games industry, and who is a wizard with client relationship building and management.

You will work closely with our Charity Director and Head of Programmes to implement a comprehensive business development strategy, seek out new partnerships, and deliver activations with key corporate partners.

You’ll think creatively, championing new approaches to fundraising, while staying organised by maintaining records of partner relationships in a CRM.

And ultimately, you’ll help Safe In Our World’s vital mission and key resources reach new audiences for years to come.

The Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to secure and manage corporate partnerships and sponsorships (though your experience doesn’t have to be in a charity capacity!)

You’ll be flexible, organised and proactive, with strong communication skills. The role will also require occasional travel to national and international events, conferences, and partner meetings, so you’ll ideally be comfortable with travelling.

How to Apply

If this role sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you. Read the full job description and apply with a Cover Letter and CV via our form.

You’ll hear back regardless of the outcome by no later than 10 April 2026. If successful, you will be invited to interview during the week commencing 13 April 2026. There is an option to include any accessibility needs in the application form, but you’ll have the opportunity to ask for accommodations before your interview, too.

Our interview process will include three stages:

  • An initial phone screening where we’ll provide some more information about Safe In Our World, answer any questions you have, and get to know you a little bit more.
  • A first interview with our Charity Director and Head of Programmes, where we’ll ask questions about your skills and experience in relation to the role.
  • A second interview with our Charity Director and one of our Trustees, which will involve a brief presentation task.

"Interested? We'd love to hear from you." is written in white text against a dark blue starry background with a rocket and planets, and the Safe In Our World logo. A red button icon at the bottom says "Apply now."
