Charline Foch

Charline is a games researcher currently completing a PhD on video games. She is the proud recipient of the award of “weirdest (but cool) research topic” at the 2022 IGGI Conference for her work around designing desirable and engaging experiences of failure in video games. Having received a late diagnosis of autism in the middle of her PhD (and a pandemic), she is keen on using her passion for games and research to promote positive attitudes and challenge assumptions around mental health (in the weirdest, but cool, ways).
