Celebrate the unsung heroes in the games industry and nominate an Industry Star for Devcember!

This December, we want to hear from you. Who has made a positive difference in games this year? No act of kindness is too small!

Who’s eligible?

Everyone who helps the games industry keep ticking is eligible for a Devcember shout out! Be you engineer, artist, community manager, HR, finance, creator… It takes our whole community to keep the games industry going. Every single member of that community deserve celebrating!

Use our form to tell us about someone who’s been a shining light in games this year.

How are we celebrating?

We will be selecting 24 Industry Stars from the nominations, and throughout December, we’ll be sharing your stories across social media. The more information you can give us about how your nominee has made a positive difference for you or the wider industry, the better.

How do I nominate?

Our form takes about five minutes to fill out. We need some details for contacting your nomination (e.g. email/link to their social), their job title, and your reason for nominating them. Nominations need not be a surprise! Don’t be put off reaching out to the person you want to nominate if you need information from them. They’ll likely just be touched that you considered them. Let’s normalise being open about nominations.

When does Devcember start?

Make sure you follow us on social media to hear about all the amazing people nominated! We’ll reach out to the successful nominees to let them know they’ve been selected in early December. You’ll start seeing shout outs after that point.

Nominations will close Friday 22nd November (23:59 GMT), so don’t delay.
