4 Billion Gamers

4 Billion Gamers is our invitation to the games industry to help us reach players with a simple but important message: you are not alone, and support is there for those who need it.

Games connect people. Across countries, cultures, and communities, billions of people play, create, compete, and form lasting friendships through games.

Still, 1 in 6 people worldwide experience loneliness (WHO), and knowing where to turn for support can be difficult. Now, imagine we could harness the power of video games for good by connecting players to game-changing mental health resources.

With the help of developers, publishers and platforms in games, we can. Safe In Our World is inviting the global games industry to be part of the solution, helping us reach gamers with mental health support in the spaces they play.

Help us reach Four Billion Gamers

The global audience for games is forecast to pass four billion by 2029. That’s almost half the world’s population! Meanwhile, 1 in every 7 people lives with a mental disorder (WHO). Statistically, you will either know someone (or be someone) who is struggling with their mental health.

Your game can open the door for us to reach those people, wherever they are in the world. Together, we can make mental health support easier to discover, so that no one has to continue to struggle with their mental health alone.
