Safe In Our World offers a subsidised Employee Assistance Programme for the UK video game industry to further remove barriers to mental health support.

An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is typically a workplace benefit provided by an employer that gives employees access to a range of services to support personal and professional wellbeing.

The problem is that these can be expensive, especially for small studios, not to mention that self-employed people might not know they can benefit too. So, we looked for ways to make EAPs more accessible, and thanks to the support of our generous sponsors and community, we can offer seats on our own EAP at a subsidised rate, allowing anyone in the UK to join!

What’s included in our EAP?

The Safe In Our World EAP offers a comprehensive range of support and services, including mental and emotional health, financial and life coaching, and more. It costs just £25 per person for the entire year (by comparison, studios with ~10 employees would spend an average of £10.27 per employee per month*).

We shared an article about what you can expect to access through our EAP, but here’s a quick summary of the services and support you’ll unlock:

  • 10 therapy sessions per issue, per year
  • 24/7 helpline & live chat access to 2000+ qualified counsellors
  • Leadership and life coaching
  • Bespoke financial guidance with Munny
  • HR advice from CIPD-qualified consultants
  • Mood, sleep, and activity tracking and health trends

This support also extends to your family, including partners and dependants who are still living at home. Get in touch if you have any questions or if you’re ready to join our Employee Assistance Programme.**
